Welcome To "The Page"
The Page is an attempt to talk about those things that I hold dear. The things that I deal with shall attempt to bring together the things that I see and are vital to the total integration of the person.
I shall attempt to share things about me and about the site. I will try to share some of the things that make this site and it's purpose dear to me.
There is much being said today by so many different people. Every where that a person turn there is someone promoting themselves as an expert; and even when they don't claim to be a expert them want you to think that they are experts without them making the claim to be so. And when they are challenged in that which they think themselves to be, they become highly agitated, and some times even hostel.
The so called experts can be seen in the number of television and radio talk show hosts and the programs that are around today. There are shows from Ophrah Winfrey to Jerry Springer, Howard Stern and Tom Lankus; people like Rush Limbaugh, Tavis Smiley, Sean Hannity and Armstrong Williams; from Art Bell,and Whitley Streeber to Barbara Simpson. Often the differences or subtle, and sometimes the differences are glaring. These people are as overwhelming as the Preachers that we encounter on Sunday Mornings and evenings, and Wednesday nights. We are bombarded daily with choices that we must make. The average person cannot do it. However they are expected to do it and are critized when they don't or when they make the wrong decision. All the things and people demand our time, attention and loyalty; and often they, without saying it demand our worship or at let our devotion and adoration. Too often we are so divided in out time and offerings until we cannot give the proper time, love, devotion and proper worship to God.
It is difficult to live a full affective life and keep up with the amount of information that we are inundated with day after day. We are busy trying to make a living, have a marriage, raise a family, and deal with responsibilities of living in a free country and society like America. It is human nature as we know it, to try and do the best that we can in light of self survival. Whether we admit it or not the best or the worst of us humans, want to be the best we can in the society in which we choose to be a part. We don't always have what we need to make the wisest choose, never the less we have to make a choice; and when we do we will try the best that we know how to defend ourselves and the choices that we make. I am not saying that it is right or wrong, in and of it self. That call, must come from something greater that the individual which also dwells inside the individual. Also it is outside the individual as well.
Our lives and the decision that we must make day by day places us, as it were, under the proverbial microscope. It is not easy to relax, and think critically in the world in which we live. The things that demand our attention can be overwhelming. Not only the secular evens in our lives, but the spiritual things are just as overwhelming as well. The things that are in our world can tend to pull us in a multitude of different direction. Sometimes, finding the truth in the midst of the mountains and hills of information is daunting. |

RECENT UPDATE TO AND ABOUT THIS SITE....
The things that I shall deal with and share with will include some of that things that are going on in the world around us that effect us as Christians.
As I deal with the news and the happens of the day one of the many things that engages me is the continuing debate that we Americans have with civil rights, particularly as they relate to Americans that are black or primarily of African decent. The issues
of affirmative action, and qoutes are particularly devisive.
I have heard the system of affirmative action is one that is in fact reverse
racism. I am sure that the method used in correcting a wrong is as important as the prblem that it is attempting to correct. However, like a pendulium the full swing from one side to the other is necessary for the proper operation of the pendulium. Depending on the speed of the pendulium's swing, there will be a need for patience as the pendulium make it's full arch or swing.
There will also be a need for vigilance to made sure that the swing never becomes static at either one end or the other, nor in the middle. |
All that is, is on one level or another speaking to me and to you....
We, you and I must be must be responsible for the things that we as an individual do; and when we come as a group, we act as one, and then the group becomes responsibile....Not only must we be responsible for the things that we do; sometimes we inherit things from our perents hadn and whether we like it of not some times they bring with they responsibilities that are not easily seen of accepted, yet the are real, and if we accept the benefits we must also accept the responsiblities.
And somewhere, some how we must and will give an account for the things that we have done and for the things of which we have accepted benefits from....the |

There is no one set of relationship groupings that is more important than the other, but just as a beginning point at this point in time, the relation of Father and son is one of the pilars in the family and in society....
